Bowling and billiards booking with online payment
BookGame is an online booking system for bowling alleys, billiard clubs, play centers and other sports and entertainment venues. As part of the client’s IT team, we develop the system: the management panel, website templates and the booking process.

Challenge
Sports and entertainment venues want more bookings, fewer no-shows and less manual guest handling.
Bowling centers, billiard clubs, play centers and go-kart tracks needed an advanced online booking system that accepts bookings at any hour, handles payment and takes work off the venue staff.
We joined BookGame’s development by taking over part of the client’s in-house IT team capabilities. We extend the system’s features, improve the management panel, develop website templates and optimize the booking process.
From choosing a time to a confirmed booking
A booking goes through four steps, which we develop on both the guest and the venue side.

Choosing a time
The guest chooses an attraction, package, day and number of people, then a time and lane from the available slots.

Extras
Extras such as bowling shoes or food can be added to the booking, and the price updates live.

Payment
The guest pays online right away or books and pays at the club.

Done
The booking gets a number and a status, and the guest manages it later in their account.
A system on both sides of the booking

Choosing a time and lane
On the booking page template, the guest sets the number of tables and people and the room, then picks a time in a grid of slots for each room. Slots on promotion show the discount, and a day with an age restriction displays a message for guests.
Payment and confirmation
The summary collects the date, lanes, discount and extras with prices, and the guest can add a discount code and a message to the club. Payment is online or at the club. After booking, the guest sees the booking number and payment status.
Management panel
In the back office, venue staff configure online booking separately for each attraction (bowling, billiards, a birthday room or tables) and choose how events are displayed in the plugin. From the panel, they also add ticketed events: date, poster, sales period, ticket limit and ticket types with prices.
Booking on mobile
The whole booking process, from choosing a package to payment, also works on mobile devices.
