    TurboDash

A financing comparison tool for online sellers

TurboDash is a fintech platform on which online sellers compare financing offers from different institutions and choose the best fit. We built the platform’s MVP: forms, filtering and the offer comparison logic.

    Challenge

Getting financing took several days, and offers from different institutions were hard to compare.

Online store owners needed a faster, more transparent way to get financing. The goal was to cut the process from several days to a few hours and present offers so they could be compared side by side.

We built the platform’s MVP: from company data forms to the logic that collects proposals from financial institutions and selects the best options based on the seller’s business data.

From amount to the chosen offer

The seller goes from the amount they need to an offer from a specific provider.

    1. 01

      Amount and criteria

The seller enters the amount, the purpose of financing and the platforms they sell on.

    2. 02

      Comparing offers

Offers from institutions appear in one list with the financing type, amount and interest rate.

    3. 03

      Offer details

A description, benefits, requirements and supported platforms help judge whether the offer fits the store.

    4. 04

      Going to the provider

The comparison can be downloaded as a PDF, and the chosen offer redirects to the provider.

    Comparing offers, step by step

From the search, through the offer card, to suggestions for sellers without an exact match.

    01

    Offer search

The seller sets the financing amount, the purpose (for example, inventory financing) and the platforms they sell on. Below, they get a list of offers from different institutions with the financing type, amount and interest rate, and each offer’s details expand with one click.

    02

    Offer card

The offer card collects the parameters in one bar: financing type, amount, term and cost. Below are the description, benefits and a list of supported marketplaces. Conditions such as minimum time in business, minimum turnover, decision time and countries of operation are shown in a separate breakdown.

    03

    Alternative suggestions

When no offer meets all the criteria, the platform says so plainly and shows alternative suggestions. Each one lists its parameters: minimum revenue, term, required time in business, additional fees, minimum credit score and decision time.

    Scope of work

    1. Platform MVP

Implementation of the search, offer list and offer card, company data forms, filtering by financial criteria, offer comparison logic and PDF summaries, in Laravel, Vue.js, GraphQL and PostgreSQL.

    2. Security and performance

HTTPS and GDPR-compliant security, and performance for up to 1,000 concurrent users. The project was created in the Unicorn Hub program co-financed by PARP, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
